Dave Hubbard
Ph.D., LCSW, LPC
In working with clients, I often present “scripts” that are present-centered and realistic. As clients strengthen their assertiveness, they learn to confront negative emotions honestly. The result is typically a greater degree of control and balance. Seeking to provide dynamics in the counseling relationship that are natural, simple, and authentic, my hope is that clients experience freedom as God would desire for them—a true reversal from feeling shut down, constricted, or ashamed. As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Professional Counselor, Dr. Hubbard is trained to work with individuals and couples. He typically uses Attachment Theory as a basis for addressing the shame issues that are often at the root of many client issues. Dr. Hubbard has previously worked in hospital settings and later had the privilege of starting a counseling practice called New Life Resources, Inc., where he has been serving as Director.
